(Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. born September 25, 1980), is an American rapper, record producer, actor and entrepreneur from Bankhead, Atlanta,
Georgia. He signed his first major label record deal in 1999, with Arista Records subsidiary, LaFace Records. In 2001, T.I. formed the Southern hip
hop group Pimp Squad Click (P$C), alongside his longtime friends and fellow Atlanta-based rappers. Upon being released from Artista, T.I. signed to
Atlantic Records and subsequently became the co-chief executive officer (CEO) of his own label, Grand Hustle Records, which he launched in 2003. In
2009, Billboard ranked him as the 27th Artist of the 2000s decade.
Paperwork is the ninth studio album by American rapper T.I., released on October 21, 2014, by Grand Hustle Records and Columbia Records. The album is
his first project under Columbia Records, after his contract with Atlantic Records expired, following the release of his eighth album Trouble Man:
Heavy Is the Head (2012). Paperwork, which derives its title from T.I.'s sixth album Paper Trail (2008), was revealed to be the first in a
trilogy. The album has spawned the singles "About the Money", "No Mediocre" and "New National Anthem". Paperwork features guest appearances from Chris
Brown, The-Dream, Iggy Azalea, Jeezy, Lil Boosie, Nipsey Hussle, Rick Ross, Skylar Grey, Trae tha Truth, Usher, Watch The Duck, Young Thug, Victoria
Monet and Pharrell Williams, the latter of which served as the album's executive producer. Aside from Pharrell, the album's production was
handled by several high-profile producers, such as DJ Mustard, DJ Toomp, Tricky Stewart, Tommy Brown and London on da Track, among several others.
